Tex, A Migraine and A Squishy Ball

Last night I actually heard Tex being cute. It was around 3:00 am and I was laying in bed recovering from a migraine. First I heard his little footsteps coming down the hall. At the same time he was "talking" softly, sweet little "mews" (this suggested a mouth full of squishy ball--however sometimes a mouth full of squishy ball can sound like a cat in severe pain--this was not the case last night). Then I heard him come into the bedroom and "WHUMP!" he flopped down onto the floor and stretched and rolled about. After that there were several little "whump's" as he smacked the ball around the bedroom. It was sweet, relaxing and soothed me right back to sleep.

Most of us rather like our cats to have a streak of wickedness. I should not feel quite easy in the company of any cat that walked about the house with a saintly expression. ~Beverly Nichols

I have developed a deep respect for animals. I consider them fellow living creatures with certain rights that should not be violated any more than those of humans.
