what the sam?!? was this for sale?!? was the caretaker a crazy lady with cracked eye glasses and a toothless grin?!? did you get to pet IT?

She belongs to a wildlife rehabilitation lady. I only met the lady's father so I don't know about the eyeglasses and toothless grin. She, the possum, helps the lady by fostering other orphaned possums. They found her and her 11 siblings in their mother's pouch after she'd, the mother, been hit by a car. I guess that's pretty common and that whenever we come across a dead possum in the road, ideally, we should inspect it for living babies. I don't think I know anybody that could actually do this. I do know I'd feel pretty fantastic if I did do it and saved a bunch of babies. Still don't think I could do it.
